While working at a specialty auto parts store, rookie cop Brian Paul Walker goes undercover with a full supply of “NOS” products in stock. Every night crowds gather to watch the drivers of these Japanese muscle cars race for money and women by taking over the streets in the city. Brian must determine which one of the three top driver gangs are heisting 18 wheelers to pay for there expensive car upgrades. Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) plays the undisputed street drag icon and Johnny Tran (Rick Yune) plays machine gun carrying biker and street racer bad guy. We see some dazzling high speed chases. The stunt drivers for this movie really beat out the acting and the story line and deserve much of the credit for making this film entertaining. Although this film was all about imports, they still managed to pay homage to the Detroit muscle cars of the past by showing an old classic performing in a wild chase scene. You will have to see the movie to find out what kind of car it was.
