Mummy II, step aside and make way for Tomb Raider. Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) is the real life adaptation of the animated character from the very popular video game. Lord Croft (Jon Voight) plays her father in the film. For you movie trivia fans out there, Voight is in fact her real life dad as well. We watch Lara Croft 😉 step into an action-paced treasure hunt. She must find two pieces of a puzzle which when assembled together at a precise time will allow the holder to control time, making one able to go into the past or future. This film doesn’t let up, it’s high-octane energy fun coupled with Lara’s sexy outfits make for delicious eye candy. As is quite often the case with lofty action films, the cinematography is outstanding. We went to Iceland for one piece of the puzzle and to Cambodia for the other. The best part of the film is that this type of mindless movie fun can be enjoyed by anyone. So, if you’re in the mood for a gratuitous action flick, check this one out.
