I don’t know if there has ever been a movie about real life situations such as the love frustrations and Family bonds with four of the actors actually being of the same family. Alex Gromberg (Michael Douglas) really has the toughest role as he plays father, son and husband. He is a three time loser as he is failing in all three relationships. Trying to avoid passing on the mistakes his father made with him and then watching them come out in his son was very well expressed. This is the first time, father and son Michael and Kirk appear together on the big screen and are joined by Cameron and Diana. Not related, but certainly mentionable are the roles played by Bernadette Peters and Rory Culkin Although some of the dialogues and situations were very entertaining for the most part I found it to be rather slow at times. The acting was certainly first rate.
